Product Description Ideal for Internal Wooden Doors Yale 2 Lever mortice Sashlock is ideal for internal wooden doors, the spring latch bolt is operated by lever handles and the dead bolt can be locked from either side of the door using the key. The latch bolt can be easily reversed for left or right handed doors to suit the orientation of your door. Ideal for use inside a property to restrict access or create extra privacy. Yale Quality Keys Includes a set of 2 Yale keys and additional replacements can be ordered from a locksmith or hardware store. Installation Guide The Yale 2 Lever motice Sashlock is available in a choice of 2 decorative finishes to match your door and includes all the required screws, fittings and an easy to follow instruction sheet with installation templates. A mortice lock with a 64mm (2.5 inch) case is suitable for any internal wooden door and has a 45mm backset (distance from edge of door to centre of key hole is suitable for any wooden internal door. There is no need to remove the lock from the door to measure what size you need. The backset size can be identified by measuring from the edge of the door to the centre of the key hole. If you are replacing an existing unit you should be able to use the holes that are already on the door. Check your required size before ordering by using the simple guide. The more levers in a lock creates a higher level of security. For example, a 5 lever key can have around 1000 key combinations but a 2 lever lock only has 12 different combinations.
