The sales rep would host a Coppercraft Guild party, inviting friends to check out the samples and then order their own pieces via the hostess's catalogue.
Coppercraft Guild was a manufacturer of decorative copper giftware and housewares, founded in 1973 and closed in 1978. It was a subsidiary of Tandy Corporation, which later became RadioShack.
