Anyone want to pick up a van painting from me? This was hung at @somewhereelsetogo which was a boss little art space that I wish I spent more time at, but now it’s being torn down to further gentrify Oakland and build some condos for the already over populated, overpriced Bat Area I grew up in.
This piece was for the coolest show where the room was built to look like the interior of a boogie van and good music, good food and good people were at.
This piece was painted on all of my lunch breaks and breakbreaks at Trader Joe’s in order to get it done in time. Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT the Scooby Doo van. It’s a little wonky and set in a vintage frame that I also hand painted but it looks great up! If you’re truly interested, here it is!
