Tekton shallow external sockets have large, die stamped markings that are permanently impressed into the material by a roll stamped die and can't wear off. The internal six-lobe E-star geometry is designed for a high-torque fit that resists slipping. The chrome-plated exterior is highly corrosion-resistant and wipes clean to a mirror finish. The socket is protected against corrosion with chrome plating on the outside and chrome plating supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish where needed for full coverage on the inside. Detent grooves and beveled edges provide a smooth and secure connection with the drive tool. Place sockets onto the clips to store them loosely, or twist them clockwise to lock them into place. Detent bumps on the clip tabs engage with the sockets to keep them secure, even when on-the-go.
