The Gared Super Basketball Goal is part of Gared's line of front-mount fixed rims. Understanding the anatomy of a front-mounted fixed rim is the first step in choosing the right fit for your needs. A fixed rim consists of four basic components: ring, reinforcement, net attachment, and backplate. As you add rings, increase ring diameter, and strengthen the reinforcement, you're building a stronger rim. Most Gared fixed goals are double-ring rims with varying levels of reinforcement. All rims feature universal backplates and ship with a quality outdoor net. While all Gared fixed goals feature universal hole patterns, Gared does not encourage mounting fixed rims on glass backboards. The goal offers affordable, superior playground performance. It features 18-inch double rings, a 5/8-inch top ring and a 1/2-inch bottom ring, 5/8 x 15-inch double reinforcement, and a no-tie net attachment for easy setup. For indoor and outdoor use.
