Back in the early 1990s, Butch Richenback made his duck calls by hand one-at-a-time. He was approached by World Champion Buck Gardner. They formed Rich N Tone Products and the Rich N Tone II was the first ever injected duck call that was an exact replica of Butch's hand made duck calls. These were produced with hi-tech injection molding machine and they could make hundreds of parts in a day or two. These were very popular because hunters that couldn't afford the hand-made call could now purchase a Rich N Tone II polycarb for about $25.00
