A lovely Lisner rhinestone bird brooch. This circa 1960's Lisner figural features a pink rhinestone studded bird with a pale blue rhinestone eye. The base is gold tone metal textured to suggest feathers. 3 dimensional construction with the front wing independently attached to the main body of the brooch. Signed Lisner. In fine vintage condition.
Lisner was founded in 1904, its roots go back to post Civil War New York City. The Lisner brothers were merchants of imported "fancy goods".
