Beautiful Lightning Ridge black opal but not just a black opal This is a CRYSTAL black opal which are relatively rare and rarely as stunning as this one. 2.5 carats 16x9 mm pear shape. photo taken under UV light to show full color and flash. second photo is a setting that it was on previously currently it is not set at all and ready to be added to your favorite piece.
Obtained this from probably the most well-known and highest respected opal dealers in Australia. He only does the best high-end pieces and I have enjoyed this for several years.
