I cleaned the bit and took new photos!Make Me a reasonable offer! We are retired from horses, cleaning out the barn. Nice, hard to find used, Les Vogt Performax Argentine Snaffle Bit-6 1/2" long cheeks, 2" purchase with a 5 1/8" wide mouth, hand engraved German Silver over brown steel.
Lightly used and well cared for. Mouth is sweet iron with copper inlay. There is some light rusting that is normal for an iron bit.
An Argentine snaffle is very forgiving and will teach a horse about leverage bits, what a chin strap is, and how to respond to the pressure it creates. It is a pretty simple bit and gives you a lot of lateral control because the cheeks will swing out when you pull with one rein. Always start this process with a leather curb strap.
