Kind of handmade, I got the items individually and put it all together.
Nice little pagan charm I made for protection. The hair stick is wood, the coin is metal and it's tied together with a waxed cord.
Hair sticks are one of the best tools for length retention. Even better than silk scrunchies! They're very gentle and keep your ends (the most fragile parts of your hair) tucked away to prevent mechanical damage. They also distribute the weight of the hair evenly, which causes less tension on the scalp for people who tend to wear the same style over and over. Regular hair ties and clips pull at smaller sections of hair, which weaken them over time. Sticks pull it all in evenly!
Hecate is the goddess of witches, and is praised a lot during samhain season. This is her symbol!
