KANTHA is a traditional embroidery style originating from Bengal, involving simple, running stitches.
The word 'Kantha', in fact, means 'embroidered quilt'.This quilt would be used either to sleep on or as a blanket to cover oneself.
This quilted bedspread is made of fine quality stonewashed cotton fabric in the all season denim blue colour. The quilt has cotton wadding which is then lined with soft cotton fabric at the back. Quilting is in basic stripe pattern in white colour threads.
This traditional beautiful handmade bedspread is durable and comfortable.
Each bedspread is washed and ironed before putting up for selling.
NOTE:
the distressed blue colour fabric of the quilt is achieved by stonewashing process.
Due to stonewash process the blue colour will not come out identical. in all quilts. It can vary a bit from one quilt to another.
