Over the years Nike has applied military-inspired designs to a variety of silhouettes and in 2017 the Air Jordan 8 got the treatment with the ‘Take Flight’ colorway. Also going by the name ‘Sequoia’ (for the Sequoia-green base color) or ‘UNDFTD’ (because of it’s resemblance to the well-known ‘UNDFTD x Air Jordan 4’), the ‘Take Flight’ colorway was inspired by the look of fighter jets and the classic MA-1 flight jacket.
