The Metabo DropSecure (DS) tethering system is designed to offer a range of products for tethering corded/cordless/hand tools, Metabo DS battery packs, and accessories to reduce the likelihood of injury from a dropped object when working at height.

The lanyards and attachment points are certified to ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 standard and include clear labelling of maximum weight capacity for simplified system selection.

With a focus on safety, the Metabo 18V 10.0Ah DS LiHD HIGH DENSITY BATTERY features a fall protection bracket that can be used with the DS Battery Lanyards (sold separately).

All Metabo LiHD batteries are manufactured with next-generation high density battery cells and industrial grade current components, thereby reducing internal resistance to amplify power transfer to the motor by up to 100%.

The efficiencies gained allow the tool to run cooler, longer, and with more power for high-demand applications that were previously not possible with 18V cordless tools.

A fully charged LiHD battery pack will deliver 100% of its power in temperatures ranging from 5∞F to 122∞F.

The battery contains integrated impact and skid resistant rubber to stand up to the toughest jobsite conditions, as well as a 4-LED capacity indicator to display the remaining charge.
