Do to the die breaking during the production of these super rare coins. During the minting the die broke causing the damage across the face and along the rim...you can see on these clear images. All scarface coins have the same cracking and damage lining directly from the rim to the cheek. This coin has significant value ..possibly worth about $6,000-$9,000 in this stage. I'm selling cheap here because this is where I sell my collectables. The coin is 100% authentic from 1888 and is a Scarface error. Also, the condition of this rare antique coin is almost flawless for its age.
