Good working disk drive, it’s nice and clean and well maintained, I go through them replacing chips or anything else it might need, then I play with them letting them load long games also leave on for a minimum of a hour or longer and I also run MASH a testing program for the 1541 so I know if the speed and alignment is probably set. I can add a 8/9 switch for $15 or I can turn it into a 9 drive, just makes transferring disks easier. Alps drive so better heads, the drive is 1984. I always test the computer stuff before it’s shipped. This one got a good cleaning and a replacement of one 6522 chip - Sold as is.
